The ASMEC Advanced Surface Mechanics GmbH was established in 2003 by Dr. Thomas Chudoba, who is a recognized expert in the field of surface mechanics and nanoindentation. Since August 2011 ASMEC belongs to the ZwickRoell Group. The goal for founding the company was the development of advanced instruments, methods and software for the mechanical characterization and optimization of surfaces and coatings. This is still our objective today.
